Halloween

This was a marathon day. We started out refinancing the house in the morning (they came here.) Afterwards we took the kids and Kelsey and Mia from across the street to the library party. It was actually well done and the kids had a great time. It was super nice to have Steven around! Nap for Kate and a breather in the early afternoon and then back to costumes. Rachel went Trick or Treating with Kelsey, Mia and Stacy (Mom) and Steven took Kate and Andrew while I passed out candy here. I joined up long enough to experience Kate walking up and down people's steps, across their lawns, resting in their cactus garden's and enjoying their pets. She didn't move from one place to the next very quickly, but seemed to be really enjoying herself. Andrew was pleased and content. At dark we ran off to eat dinner and have fun with friends at the Mallavia's house. As we do every Halloween, we go and eat food, the kids go crazy, it gets really loud and fun. Then when it's all over the kids are too worn out to eat candy and just go to bed. Perfect ending!
