I have been SOOO wrapped up in getting the house fixed that I haven't posted much of anything for a long time. So I chose some pictures of the kids over the past few months, some of us working on the house and then of the house today. I really wanted to do before and after pictures, but the before pics are on another computer and I'm just out of steam. Also, it takes forever for me to get the computer to post even one picture to my blog, so I just clicked them, randomly thrown all together, to a Picasa Web Album that you can link to. The very last picture, a close-up of the banister, shows something I am very proud of. I bought the wood moldings, stained them and miter cut them all around the edges while Steven was at work. Yes, I'm bragging! The cuts fit very nicely. There are lots of little things to go around and fix, and now the countertops and wallpaper really look out of place, but Steven and I need the freedom from working on our house for a LONG while! The kids are really enjoying the beautiful fall and being outside all the time. I LOVE this time of year.

Wow Kristi! Now your house is fancy schmancy! I especially love the tile and wood! Looks like Kate is quite the helper, too! Every sentence has and exclamation point because you rock!
Everything looks fabulous! You guys have worked hard. I esp love the stairs.
